Koguna

In a recent clear out of dark corners we discovered one of the original Windows games - written back in 1995. It amazingly appears to work on recent versions of Windows (we haven't tried it on Vista but it works on XP), so we thought we'd just make it freely available. Actually, it was never 100% completed (for instance, it does not recognise a stalemate position) but is near enough the finished article that we feel okay to let you waste time with it.

It is a small 'timewaster' game. Trivial. Mildly amusing. Please feel free to download it and, when you are tired of it, delete it. No guarantees (other than it being virus and spyware free) and no support. Just, maybe, a little fun diversion from 1995.

The download is a zip archive containing 2 files:

• The executable KOGUNA.EXE
• The standard Windows help file, KOGUNA.HLP
